TODAY’S BOW TIE (ROYAL BLUE)

IMG_4422

Today’s bow tie is a Royal Blue, I’m thinking about calling this one “Hartwick Blue,” in the shop.  If you could name this bow tie, what would you call it?

As always all of our bow ties are made from sustainable material and 20% of the proceeds go to charity; this year we are supporting Charity Water

You can find the Royal Blue Bow Tie in our shop

Ever wonder why Royal Blue is called, Royal Blue? Here is what Wikipedia sayest on the matter:

“Royal blue describes both a bright shade and a dark shade of azure blue. It is said to have been invented by millers in Rode, Somerset, a consortium of which won a competition to make a dress for the British queen, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
