Photo: Little Mikey ( my nephew) dreaming up names for the bow ties.
As I was taking pictures of the bow ties, putting together the website and reaching out to folks, I realized there was an opportunity to provide each bow tie with a unique name (calling each bow tie by it’s color just wasn’t doing it for me). I also figured, ”Why do it alone?”
So in the vein of my sports management background I decided to open it up for a naming rights contest (just like they name stadiums, except I won’t charge you millions of dollars).
You can submit a name for each of the bow ties (I’ll have that open for about 1 week, starting….now!) and then the public will vote for which name they like the best.
The name with the most votes wins–of course I reserve the right to remove anything that is vulgar or offensive.
There are 20 bow ties to be named. With each winning name comes bragging rights and a permanent spot on The Bow Tie Flow site. That’s right, the bow tie name you submitted will be there for all to see and I’ll include your name “named by [insert your name here].”
Enough talking from me, you can get in on the naming rights action by going to the Naming Rights Contest tab
Do you have any questions about the contest after visiting the page?
